After finding people, losing people, finding people again, everyone finds each other. Rope is involved and a plan of action

Molly broke out into a wide grin the moment she saw everyone. After all the weirdness, it was good that everybody was there. "Yay!" she said, letting out a sigh of relief. "Finally. Hi everybody! It been like one of those weird stair paintings you know?"

"I know what you mean," said Nica with a sigh. "Have I mentioned how much I hate all this dimensional weirdness crap? Is everyone okay?"

"Everybody holds hands," Alex said, half seriously. "Maybe that'll keep... whatever the hell is going on from eating one of us again."

"Or you know, it could steal all of us in one gulp," Stephen pointed out with a smile, "but...at least we'd all be together, finally. This thing is freaky."

"The sooner we leave, the better." Jean-Phillipe was still on edge, like the hairs on the backs of his arms were all standing up. "Perhaps we could tie a rope to each other so as to keep from getting lost."

He paused. "-Does- anyone have some rope?"

Sharon dug through the small back pack she had brought and pulled out a roll of bandages, the strong type she used to staunch bleeding or to wrap up a sprain. "I've this." She held up the roll. "I've two, so that should be enough for us all."

Hair askew, clothing torn, Julian took one end of the bandages silently, as he sent ripples of telekinetic force bouncing down the hallways in every direction; searching for present danger, but still unsure if he'd even be able to feel the...thing. Finally, he shook his head and frowned, turning back to the group, "I don't think it's near...hard to tell, rules don't seem to apply to this thing."

"Spidey sense hasn't shut up since we popped in here," Miles said wearily, massaging his temples. "Even if it's not here here, it's close enough that we're still in danger. And it seems to regenerate when it goes off on its own, so that's probably what it's doing now. Let's link up and get out of here before it gets back to full and finds us."

“Where is safe though?” Maya took her end of the bandage and wrapped it around her wrist before passing it on. “We haven’t found any way out and outside is just more of the crazy.”

"Nowhere's safe," Molly said with a frown, wrapping herself up tightly to the super-powered daisy chain. "If its hunting us, it probably wants to get people alone. Pick off the weak ones. Make us scared and sloppy." She remembered her time with Sif and when they hunted monsters throughout the nine realms--some as smart as a person, some just like animals.

"We gotta stay one step ahead til we figure out something." Trouble is...she didn't know how to do that. Luckily, they were together, so that meant more brains coming up with ideas.

"This place feels influenced with magic," Pixie observed as she connected herself and passed the roll on to Alex. "Maybe the rules are magic rules. We may have to defeat the demon in order to escape its realm."

"Cool!" Alex said, though he had no idea what any of that meant. "So.... what, it's like Harry Potter, right?"

"What was that?" Xavin asked, hearing a scream in the distance.

Clea perked up, "Probably that missing student. We've seen her off and on but she keeps disappearing. We need to find that bear. I think Pixie is right, the bear has to be linked to this place."

That theory made the most sense to Meggan, as she wrapped the bandage around her wrist, before handing the roll to Nica. “If it weren’t being blotted out by the ambiance of, well, this, I’m pretty sure I’d be feeling something from it specifically,” she realized. If it normally lived in this wherever, then it probably did that blockage by instinct. Even if it wasn't really a bear, anyway.

"But how exactly are we supposed to defeat the damn thing?" Nica asked, taking the bandage and tying it to one of her belt loops on her jeans. "I mean, it just shrugs off anything we've thrown at it, for the most part."

"Well, when in doubt, throw more at it," Jean-Phillipe advised. "At the very least, if that does not defeat it, it does seem to drive it off." Temporary solutions were better than none, as a starting point.

"Whatever we do, we need to find it first." Maya had been quiet for the most part, letting others do the talking and only piping up when she had something to add. Given her normal way of operating, she was surprised that nobody had accused of her being a pod person yet but this place was making her feel weird. She wouldn't be surprised if she was having some kind of reaction to it in much the same way she'd had to the Slender dimension.

"Meggan, do you think there's any way you could focus? Or some way we could help you find it? Or, I don't know, Rahne? Maybe you could track it again?"

"Now that I know what I'm looking for, aye, I could possibly track it." Rahne grimaced and flailed around with her hands in a wide circle around her. "The problem will be narrowing it down. It's nay exactly been keeping itself to one room. If we figure out where it's been recently, I could find the more recent scents and track it."

“She's right," Meggan agreed.. She answered the question directed to her, then. “If something dampened it just for a minute, yes, I think so. Maybe for less than that, given how big it is; just for a very short time. Just for a few moments, and I feel like I could get a lock on it.”

"Head in the direction of the screaming until we can get a lock on it with tracking or focus then, I guess?" Darcy replied, mentally counting the group again to make sure nobody had gone missing. Again. She looped the bandage roll around her belt and tied it, giving it a gentle toss to the person beside her.

Stephen snatched the bandage from the air, wrapping it around his wrist as he gave the fabric a short tug and passed it on to the next person in line. "Is it wrong of me to say I have a bad feeling about this, but then, I don't have a better idea so...we just go looking till we find it's trail?"

"No use sitting around here then," Alex said, pushing himself up. "Let's roll kids and.... adultos? Eye dee kay, gotta work on that one. Lezzgo."
