Angel drops Sooraya off at the airport, and the two exchange their goodbyes.

Sooraya blinked roughly as she looked at her best friend - the closest one she had to a sister. And now she had to leave her on the other side of the continent... She patted her pocket, checking if the small gift was still in there securely.

Angel gave Sooraya a weak smile in return, rocking back and forth on her heels. They were dawdling a bit in the airport lobby, before Sooraya went through security. "Text me when you get home," she said in the most upbeat voice she could manage.

"l'll do that. Or I might just come up with the idea just to call you and hear how your first full day here went or something..." Sooraya blinked again, this time trying to stop the tears from falling.

"Oh no, don't call me," Angel said dryly. "That would be the worst." She broke into a wide grin before diving at Sooraya, pulling her into a hug. "I'm just a teleport away. You can see me any time you can bribe Clarice."

She had to giggle. "Clarice is gonna see me coming. 'Clarice, could you pop me over to Seattle? Need to catch up with Angel' And that regularly. Poor Clarice." Sooraya shook her head in mock-pity.

"I'll pay for your trips in anything she wants." Angel laughed, pulling away. "Try not to burn anything down without me, okay? I'll be sad if I miss the fires."

"l'll leave that to the other fireflies." Sooraya hesitated for a moment, then pulled the small package from her pocket. "I've something for you... hope it's not too much...."

Angel took the small gift, surprised. "What's this for?" She asked, tilting her head. "I didn't miss my birthday again, right?" She tilted her head, trying to remember what month it was. Everything had been a blur lately.

"Have a look." Sooraya nodded at the small package, not wanting to betray anything beforehand.

"Mean." Angel stuck her tongue out, smiling, and opened the box. In it was a small gold chain with a series of small round beads and then those little tube beads. "Oh, it's beautiful," Angel said happily, carefully lifting the necklace out of the box. "Seriously, what's the occasion?"

"In movies they'd say it's something to remember me by." Sooraya stated simply. "The beads spells are morse code. They spell out my name." She shrugged a little, kinda embarrassed.

Angel's entire face lit up. "Ohmygod, that's AWESOME!" she said happily, tucking the box awkwardly under her arm to clip the necklace around her neck, then threw herself at Sooraya in another exuberant hug.

Sooraya wrapped her arms around Angel returning the hug. "Glad you're happy with it." She murmured softly. "Because..." When they separated she pulled down her collar, revealing a similar necklace, though the pattern of beads and tube beads was different. "I had one for myself with your name made as well."

Angel examined the necklace, and giggled. "Sap," she said, pulling Sooraya in for one last hug. "I guess I should let you go now before I decide to kidnap you for real, huh?"

Still wrapped in the hug, Sooraya glanced at the large clock from the corner of her eyes. "I wouldn't mind that, but I still need to get through security. Are you sure you're gonna be okay here with your mom?" She ignored the fact she'd asked that question a few times over the last couple of days.

"Yes," Angel said indulgently, smiling and pulling back to eye Sooraya. "I will be fine, she will be fine, and if anything over my head happens, I've had at least five people offer to come punch people for me. We'll be okay. I'll keep you updated."

"You know it's still not too late to pack everything up and find your mom a cozy place in Salem?" Sooraya had a tiny smile playing around her lips as she went through the familiar ritual.

"You tell my mother to leave her practice, see what happens." Angel sighed, giving Sooraya a wry smile. "This is just how it is for now. Maybe later down the road..." She shrugged. "I don't know. But right now, this is where we are."

Finally Sooraya sighed. "I understand it. I just don't like it."

"Gotta do whatcha gotta do, right?" Angel asked. "That whole adult thing."

"It sucks sometimes." Sooraya agreed. She reached out with one arm, putting a hand on Angel shoulder. "Looks like I really need to get through security. I'll call when I'm back at the mansion."

"I'll keep my phone on loud," Angel said, wrapping an arm around Sooraya's shoulders and walking with her to the security gate. "Have a safe flight."

Sooraya nodded. "I'll talk to you soon." Returning the squeeze with her own for a moment, she let go and headed through security. As soon as she was through Sooraya turned around and waved to her best friend once more before heading to the gate.

Angel smiled and waved, watching close to make sure Sooraya got through to the gate without a problem. Her hand dropped once her best friend was out of sight, falling to finger the necklace around her neck. "See ya," she said quietly, rocking on her heels for a moment before turning and heading out of the airport.

((And wrap? T_T))
