After their ‘crash landing’, the group follows former-slave-convict-now-thief Aola’Toor into the prison.

As the shuttle landed, Griggs killed the vents gushing smoke and flames. As soon as the legs settled, a large panel in the black exploded and the power cut out entirely. The ship was dead, and as soon as they cleared the landing zone, a second charge would destroy the hull, leaving a proper wreck to be found by the Imperials if they decided to double check on the crash. It would also commit them to their mission, with no other way off the planet.

“Doubletime, move,” he said, counting each one off the ship before leaving himself, sending them out into the low scrub and heavy reddish mosses that made up Naraka’s biome around the prison. A gout of flame reached up as the charges went off, and the explosion fuelled a hot gust past them. Griggs sighed.

“This is it. It’s about twelve klicks to the edge of the prison. Rryobbi, you’ve got point.”

There was no argument from the Wookiee. She took up her position with a grunt of acknowledgement, unshouldering her firearm as she lead the team toward the prison.

The trip was fairly uneventful; Rryobbi had them pause a few times when overhead noise indicated a ship was about to pass by, but they didn't run into any opposition on the ground.

Once the first visible element of the prison came into view, Rryobbi held up her fist to stop them and pointed it out to Griggs. They could definitely expect to meet more resistance from there on in.

Aola moved to join Rryobbi. "There's an entrance, for the workers, over by those rocks there. That's the best way in."

"They are jamming most signals." Rubanu commented as she tapped away on a small device. "I'm going to need a direct data entry point to get us in. Where is the closest one?" she asked Aola.

"Not far - about five metres to the right of the doors. There's not a lot of cover, tho', so you'll need someone to watch your back."

"Rryobbi, you're on guard duty. Tara, Aola, cover the left. I'll take the right."

Tara nodded as she quietly moved with Aola to cover the left flank. As someone who was in some weird place between "disgraced" Sith and actual Jedi, she had no lightsaber of her own. But between her abilities in the Force and the blaster on her hip, she knew she was more than capable of pulling her own weight in the mission.

Greta held back, uncomfortable in what might become a brawl if they were spotted. She had no desire to 'muck in' with any of these people, or to be on this planet. She was much better behind the controls of a ship, this whole being on the ground thing was giving her the heebie-jeebies. Still, she didn't drift far, far better to be with the group then away from it if they came up against trouble.

Seeing everybody was ready, Rubanu got up and moved as quickly as possible towards the entry point while staying hidden as much as possible as well. Arriving at the data entry point, the world almost immediately fell away from her as she immersed herself in the flow of the data stream.

Aola grimaced as she took up her position with Tara. She was no fighter, and while she had no doubt the former Sith apprentice had the ability to protect her, she wasn't entirely sure she trusted the woman to do just that. She would have much preferred to stay with the Wookie.

"Everyone, down!" Griggs hissed, pressing himself into the thin cover offered by the foliage. A speeder went past, dozens of metres over their heads, He tracked it with his rifle until it sped out of sight. "I don't think they saw us."

"Let's just get in and get this done." Greta hissed from her own hiding spot not far away, almost invisible against the rest of the foliage. If there were things she was good at, hiding in plain site happened to be one of them. It had saved her ass more then once during her years as a kid on Coruscant. The big wigs in the Empire might like to pretend the seat of its Emperor was milk and honey and eternal good luck but as the daughter of one of the Engineers working to keep the planet running, she knew better. "This place is making me itch."

"Try being locked up here for five cycles," Aola murmured, mostly to herself. She watched the door intently and when it opened, she dashed noiselessly from her hiding place to peek inside. "I'll go first, make sure it's clear," she told Rubanu, before she slipped silently inside. A few moments later, she reappeared, a bloody knife in her hand as she waved the group over. "Rryobbi, I need a hand with some lifting here - one of the janitors had horrible timing."

"Nnnrghh," Rryobbi grunted as she scooped up the limp, lifeless body single-handedly. Time to take out the trash. There was a nearby garbage chute and, when she was within range of same, Rryobbi hefted the body and tossed it down said chute. With that macabre task done, she rejoined the others, carefully making sure no other poorly timed employees were scuttling about.

Tara waited for the others to enter, eyes half closed in concentration. Using the Force to make herself invisible was difficult enough, let alone the entire group. She knew it wasn't true invisibility, a more 'you didn't see anything' suggestion, but it was better than nothing. They were vulnerable from attack from outside and inside the compound - even the smallest thing might help.

Rubanu ignored the others around her, continuing to shut down any automated alarms or personal alarms by the guards who had noticed something strange. Finally she looked up: "So who has the map? Would be good to know where we are going if I have to keep playing hide-and-seek with the alarms."

"No map, just me," replied Aola. "I can point out where the alarmed areas are, but for now, you and I are going to keep together." She looked around the small group to confirm everyone was ready. "Follow me."
