The Science!Bros managed to haul back the group from the Illiad, but it's not the gentlest ride. Harrison and Ev come up with a solution.

The rip in space and time sitting in the centre of the room didn't look like anything. It wasn't until Kane was close that a vague sensation of electricity was raised in the Danger Room. But he'd seen the empty space through the complex sensory suite in the control room; a black hole of swirling invisible energy, sucking and clawing at the barriers of the generators. The recall device was simple. There was a short timer, toss into the void as the team pinpointed some of their lost people, and collapse the field to bring them out. Simple.

As simple as dealing with a nightmare scenario of quantum manipulation of space and time creating new realities was ever going to get.

He hit the button and tossed in the device, which simply vanished in thin air a few metres away from him. Now it was just a question of wait-

There was a stretched pop, like an inflated canvas being tore in half and six mutants slammed into the floor of the Danger Room violently.

"Shit!" Kane said. All of them were alive and seemingly unharmed beyond the fall, but the transition had stunned them as they were ejected. "OK, plan B. Remote activated transition is way too violent. Ev and I are going to do this personally." He said, even as they rushed to help him get their rescued comrades up and to the medlab to be checked out.

Mission accomplished, the Rebels are on their way back to base… and two strangers turn up in the shuttle while they’re in hyperspace.

The holocrons had been retrieved, a shuttle stolen and they were in the process of getting off-planet. As annoying as Greta could be, she was as good a pilot as she - and everyone else - had said. Tara and Rryobbi were in the gun turrets, taking out as many of their pursuers as they could while Rubanu worked to jam their systems. Griggs, holding both holocrons, and Aola were strapped in, unable to do much more than trust in their companions' skills.

"Get ready for hyperdrive!" yelled Greta from the cockpit. Tara and Rryobbi scurried down from the turrets and strapped in only seconds before Greta engaged the drive and the world blurred around them.

"Hyperdrive? Isn't that Star Wars?" Kane said as he and Everett appeared in the compartment behind the cockpit. "Man, we could have had lightsabers."

"Hmm, are we in the original trilogy, the prequels, the EU, or the new movies? Because that would be a major factor in determining whether lightsabers are worth it," Ev pondered as he extended his aura to locate the mutants caught in this reality. They were muted, as if they were hiding under the covers, but he counted the six they had expected. "Ms. Sefton is nearby."

Ahead of them, the door to the cockpit slid open, revealing a white-skinned Tw'lek, muttering to herself: "...sure, some kind of weird reading in the rear compartment, send the thief to check it out..." She balked at the sight of the two mutants. "How... how did you get in here?"

"We're from the Special Edition." Kane said, as he pressed the button on the recall protocol. Which was a kind of cool wrist gauntlet. "It's like Boba Fett!"

"We actually are not the droids you're looking for." Ev took the proboscis-headed alien's hand in his, and felt reality rearrange itself at the moment of contact. "Long story, we'll explain later. Everyone else in there?" he asked the mutant witch now standing before him, indicating the cockpit. "Let's end this LARP."

The buttons on his wristband beeped and their surroundings fell away as they returned to the Danger Room.
