XFI is having a quick morning meeting to go over any leads of the many cases that have entered when chaos starts outside.

Lorna stood in front of the board filled with pictures of the missing people, there were roughly 10 that they knew off and there could be more. They'd all pulled long shifts, and even if overtime was still an option and not mandatory, it still felt like everyone was taking work home often. She turned towards the others that are gathered, "Alright, we will go around the room with any updates." Not that she expected anything new, but a few of the documents they'd requested a week ago had finally started coming in. "We'll start with you Sue."

The blonde glanced up from the tablet she'd laid down on the table, a grimace pulling at her face as she reached up to rub at her temple. "I'm still dealing with a mass of paperwork. Seriously, we need to hire a forensic accountant. I can do this paperwork, but I'm not anywhere near as fast as an expert. We'll get the job done and narrow things down though."

"I'm still working my former contacts as hard as I can for more Intel," Bobbi chipped in, flipping through one of the bigger files on which she'd been working the most as of late. "It's been like pulling teeth lately, I swear, I think they're almost as busy as we are, but I'm working on piecing things together as best as I can." It wasn't getting any easier, as it seemed every time they made one step closer to progress on a file they opened two more new files. "Any new updates from those of you with boots on the ground?"

"I'm just keeping you all in coffee," Maya noted as she entered the room with a tray of coffee cups and a variety of pastries. She'd ordered ahead to make sure she didn't have to spend a lot of time waiting in line. Nothing made her angrier then being surrounded by frustrated and anxious people. She might be trained enough now that she wasn't copying everyone she stood next to, but it was still an act of deliberate mental gymnastics to not just pick up whatever the person standing next to her was telegraphing to her power via body language. "Also, I set up a 'ThinkFree' account for us all so as soon as you get anything sorted, send it to my e-mail and I'll throw it up so we can keep everything straight. I made a link on our team drive for everyone to set up their accounts."

Callisto, though still technically a freelancer, was well enough known to the gang by now that it was notable when she wasn't the first to swoop in for coffee and food. She was seated in her usual corner chair, legs sprawled out in front of her, arms folded, a thoughtful frown fixed on her face. Perhaps feeling eyes on her she glanced up, then. "I don't do email," she said. Then, "Can anyone else feel that?"

"I'll take a coffee with whatever fancy-ass alcohol Worthington has stashed in his desk," Alex called from his computer, eyes still locked on the screen as he typed. "And prepare for like, twenty things in your email right-" he cut off abruptly when Callisto spoke, looking back at her. "Feel what?" Then he noticed the framed photo on his desk of him and Lorna was shaking. "Oh. Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuh. Guys?"

Lorna walked, rather quickly, to the window and looked out. A good amount of people were running away, but from what she didn't know. "Let's go." She had turned to face her team and didn't see the car that went flying past the window. But she did flinch when she heard it crash. "Fuck." As she looked out the window to see a familiar figure but dressed in way different clothing.

"Quite," Sue rubbed her eyes, this had to be some kinda bad...nope he was still there , well damn.

"Ok...so...someone...Maya call the mansion and let them know we have a gigantic...armour...someone tell me that's not the Hulk right? I'f that's the Hulk I'm going to Australia and I'm never coming back,. I've always wanted to own a surfshack there."

"It's not the Hulk." Hope confirmed as she appeared from the room next door, looking rather pale. "He looks familiar somehow though, but how and what I don't know... Please tell me someone is already calling, because if it's only us..."

Warren didn't even know why he was there. All he'd wanted to go was make his 'official announcement' and now there was an earthquake and bad guys, and damnit, why didn't anything work the way he wanted? Jaw clenched, he glanced out the window and saw what everyone else was seeing: chaos. "Well. No one has to listen to me, but I'm going to suggest we get our asses out there and help people out."

Lorna looked over at Warren, "You are right. We should get our assess out there. This is our District."

About to bark out team assignments, Warren's eyes widened. "Everyone, get out of the way!" Within seconds, a car had been thrown through the window, replacing the team's table with its now very broken frame. Warren swallowed thickly and tried to look around the room. "We gotta get out of here and get out there. We're sitting ducks." He glared at QQ. "And no bird jokes. You're stuck with me out there."

The pink iridescent shield Quentin had telekinetically conjured around him and Maya to get them out of the way of the flying car shimmered and vanished. He spared a glance at the young woman and, visibly upset he had intervened instead of letting fate take its course, stood up and brushed off his pants. "You really expect me to go out there? There's a fucking monster running around. I don't have the right shoes."

Maya looked at Quentin with something akin to surprise mixed with a smattering of low level panic but she said nothing as she got herself to her feet. While she was pretty sure her abilities would have taken over to get her out of the way, she couldn’t say that for certain. Quentin had just saved her life.

"Come on, Q, you can't telekinetic yourself into the air?" Alex half-joked as he grabbed his jacket and billy club. Just in case.

"We should split up," Callisto muttered, pushing to her feet and rolling her shoulders.

"Callisto, Lorna, Sue, Alex, you four keep Juggernaut busy and preferably away from everybody. Warren, Arthur, Q, you get as many people to safety as you can while they're doing that." Bobbi pointed to Maya and Hope, then waved at them to come with her. "You two with me, help anyone you find that's injured or trapped." She looked out at the chaos unfolding before them outside. "Let's move, people."
