After dinner, Angelo wandered up to the kitchen to see what he could find in the way of sugary snacks for dessert. Pushing open the door, he quickly realized someone had beaten him to it.

Kitty was poking through the cabinets, humming to herself. She hadn't realized, but she was humming one of the 'food hunting' songs from the old Disney Winnie the Pooh series, which probably actually suited her current search. "Now, if I were a bag of chocolates, where would I hide?" she muttered to herself, lifting up on point to try and see into the taller shelves.

Angelo chuckled, loitering in the doorway. "Probably in a bag that used t'be full of healthy food", he suggested.

Kitty glanced over her shoulder. "Oh, hey Angelo. Actually... that's not a bad idea." Spotting a box of wheat thins she pulled it out, flipping the lid open. "Jackpot!" Her hand snuck into the box and she pulled out a handful of Hershey's Kisses. "Jamie really is a bad influence on this school sometimes."

Angelo grinned. "I'm not sure some of the newer kids even know the idea came from him." He moved forward into the room, dropping casually onto a stool.

"Yeah. Not sure who spread it down to the main kitchen, either. Don't think it was him... Want one?" She held out the box towards Angelo.

"Never say no to chocolate", he said lightly, dipping a hand into the box to take a few.

"Any idea who left these here?"

Kitty shrugged. "Can't have been serious about hiding them, or they'd have ended up in the dorms where you can actually keep track of things."

Angelo laughed. "Very true. Anythin' left in the kitchen is fair game."

"Especially if Lorna gets her hands on it, or Bobby decides it would go good in ice cream. Oh.... ice cream... It's almost summer, we'll have to start bugging him about making it more often."

Angelo suddenly grinned wickedly. "Oh, yes, we will. I'm sure Jane can talk him into it even if we can't."

"Oh?" Kitty looked up from fishing a few more chocolates out of the box. "Something going on there?"

"Not yet, as far as I know. But I have a feelin' there will be."

"Really? Man, I'm out of the loop." A look flittered across her face for a second, but a sunny smile quickly replaced it. "I've not gotten to talk to Jane very much, but she seems nice. She'd probably be good for Bobby."

Angelo smiled back. "Yeah, I think she would. She's really sweet."

"That's definitely the impression I've gotten. God, I've been caught up in work, haven't I? Seems like I haven't seen anyone in ages."

Angelo shrugged. "End of the semester, everybody gets busy. An' you work harder than most anyway."

"Heh, yeah, true enough." Leaning back in a chair, she contemplatively unwrapped a kiss and popped it into her mouth.

Angelo took another chocolate in turn. "So, you know what you're doin' over the summer yet?"

Kitty shrugged. "No clue. Probably just sticking around here and taking whatever classes they come up with to distract us over the holiday. 'S my usual plan."

Angelo chuckled. "Sounds good to me. Probably gonna do the same."

"Great minds think alike," Kitty said with a grin.

He shrugged. "Well, Mom's not got the move finalised yet, an' unless there's trips planned, I might as well stay."

"Makes sense to me."

Glancing into the box, Kitty considered for a second, then grinned. "I think I'm going to take a couple of these and go distract Jamie." Hoping off the chair, she said, "Have a great night!"

Angelo grinned back. "And you. Might snag the rest an' go find Paige."
Fishing out a handful, Kitty willingly handed over the box. "Here you go. Chocolate being put to good use."

Angelo took it, still grinning, and waved as she left the room. "Have fun!"
