Secret is out, the strange visitors are from the future - and a far more specific future than realized at first. Amanda... has a niece? Who can teleport and is blue?

"Okay everyone, find a spot to sit down while I talk with some people and see what we can do to figure this out." Sooraya ordered gently as she pulled her phone from a purse lying near the entrance hall stairs. What the 'this' was, was still not entirely clear to her. "Of all the times not to pick up your phone, Summers..." She muttered.

"I suppose this is actually going better-" one of Ruby and Garnet's two bodies began.

"-than I expected. Nothing's on fire yet. Secret's out of the bag sooner than we expected, though." the second finished.

The pair kept a firm eye on Franklin and Shogo, definitely aware of where the biggest potential for further chaos would come from.

Franklin hovered up a few inches, bending his blond head very close to one of Ruby-and-Garnet's ears. "psst psst psst psst." He said - or hissed. ~I have a secret." His mouth did not move, but the child's voice was still clear and audible. "psst psst psst. That is my secret." He added, proudly. "Psst psst psst."

"Horrible Goose," Talia sang. "Inside voice."

Ellie fought against a smile as she continued signing for Nate so he didn't have to keep up with people's mouths and pulled Franklin a little closer to her in the air. "C'mon, kidlet. Want a shoulder ride or something? You can tell me all your secrets." She'd pointedly remained standing, despite the suggestion-command that they sit. She caught one pair of Ruby and Garnet's eyes and raised her brows a bit. "And are you really surprised Spaceboy practically fell over himself to tell them we're not from around these parts? Really?"

Shogo looked up from where he'd sat down on the staircase and pulled out a phone to start fiddling with. "You say that like they wouldn't have figured it out within like ten minutes of us starting to explain everything else that was going on anyway." He paused, then held out his phone with one hand and dropped it, where it bounced off the steps with a clatter. With his other hand, he reached into a pocket and pulled out a small black box, waving it around. "Also, the tech here is positively ancient. Makes sense I suppose, but it's giving me a headache." He paused, switching over to a thousand yard stare. "Ooh, wait, this means that the original YouTube is still a thing!" He reached out to where he'd dropped his phone, and looked confused to come back empty-handed. "...anyone see where my phone went?" he asked, looking up to check the ceiling.

Shakti bit back an amused smile. "Gravity, dear," she reminded Shogo. She took the opportunity to sit, laying her head on the table. She was tired already, though from the journey or trying to keep up with Franklin and Shogo, she wasn't sure.

Standing next to Ellie's side, Nate looked at her hands move. It was true that Nathanial didn't have high hopes of keeping their identities a secret for long, but it did get them through the front door and that was all that mattered. What he wasn't prepared for and should have was there would be others that would look like the people they had lost here. He put his hand on Ellie's shoulder to get her gaze before signing, (Looks the Same) (Others too), before looking at Sooraya and then around the mansion and giving the impression that they might be others they may know from their own timeline.

As if on cue, there was a clatter of boots on the stairs. "So what's this about visitors?" came a woman's voice, British-accented and brisk. "Everything all right, Dust?" Amanda appeared at the bottom of the staircase, cocking an eyebrow inquisitively at Sooraya. Semi-official team business meant code names, although it was incongruous coming from the short woman in baggy khaki shorts and a black tank top with "This Machine Kills Fascists" written on it.

"Daytripper." Sooraya returned the raised eyebrow with a nod. "Seems like we have blast from future, but they're not too forthcoming. I was just trying to get a hold of Cyclops or Dominion. They're a bit of a mixed bunch."

Talia had gone stiff at the sound of the voice. No, okay, no, there was a chance this was going to happen, it's okay. Her hands went deep into her pocket, brushing against the image inducer. It's fine, don't freak out, everything is fine, it's fine, it's fine.

But her eyes flickered to the stairs, and there was Amanda, and it wasn't fair, none of this was fair.

It was possible Nate or the twins or Ellie could have stopped Talia, if they'd had any warning whatsoever, but she had been good so far. She had kept her cool, kept her emotions under control, stayed focused on the mission, wrangled Franklin, been the responsible adult her parents had raised her to be.

"Auntie?" It was barely a whisper before she disappeared in a familiar puff of smoke. The brown-haired, light-skinned girl was gone when she reappeared, replaced by long blue hair and blue skin and yellow eyes. She had blown it, she had blown everything, but she couldn't find it in herself to care as she clung to Amanda, dimly noting she'd be lucky if the witch didn't instinctively attack.

"Oh goddammit," Ellie muttered, not even bothering to sign it as she knocked her head against Nate's bicep. "Literally not even sixty seconds," she muttered softly, keeping her voice down despite her exasperation. She'd lifted her head so Nate could read her lips, at least.

Shogo just grinned, barely even looking away from his now recovered phone. "Told 'ya."

Nathanial looked down at Ellie and signed, (Jigs up) And reached for his own device and turned it off, showing off his real self. He put his arm around Ellie and gave her a little squeeze. He then looked at Amanda and Sooraya before taking his arm back and signing (It's a long story and the reason for our secrecy)

Franklin frowned, and then held out an open hand. "I want a button too. Please push it." He waited, and before anyone could indulge him, pushed a finger into the palm of his hand. "Boop boop boop. This thing means turn off turn off turn off. This is taking too long. I want macadoni cheese."

It had been the familiar smell of sulphur and brimstone that had held Amanda back from bringing up her shielding spell or attacking outright. It was the smell forever associated with Kurt and Kurt was Safe - she knew it on an instinctive level. Even so, she stiffened as the stranger clung tightly to her, trying to understand just what the hell was happening here. "Um, hi? Who are you again?"

Oh damn it. Damn it, damn it, damn it. Damn it. Talia backed away quickly, wiping her eyes, looking back at the others. Damn it. "Sorry?" she offered weakly, voice shaking. Damn it.
