Matt, Meggan and their rebel friends arrive in time to intercept the guards chasing Molly, Namor and Evan. There's a change of sides and then goodbyes are said.

With the reinforcements in the form of Meggan, Alani and Matt's new "friends" in the rebellion, there was little resistance left from the castle guards. And when Evan stepped forward and revealed the royal insignia tattooed on his shoulder, they immediately threw their weapons (and themselves) down, begging for mercy from the rightful king.

"Enough," Evan said, gesturing they should get up. "Stand beside me like men, not grovelling like worms. It is time to take back my throne - are you with me?"

"Yes!" Guards and rebels replied as one, raising their weapons in the air. Evan nodded.

"Then we shall go and remove this pretender from my throne, and bring peace back to Terra." He glanced over at the mutants. "Do you fight with me?"

"Of course," Molly said, cracking her knuckles. "Let's kick his ass."

Grinning, Matt cracked his neck, "I do love a good fight. Just like in Princess Bride."

“We’re with you the whole way, sir,” Meggan smiled.

Namor met eyes with one of the more thuggish guards he was still holding pinned to the wall. Said man had been less than enthusiastic to turn sides in the previous fight, but the combination of bodies around the black-haired enforcer plus this new opportunity made for some quick remotivation. "Whoo!" the local guard cheered with the rest, and that was enough for Namor to let him drop.

The Atlantean's expression didn't waver, however, as he went to rejoin Evan's side. Let the prince be the rallying beacon. Namor would be the dragon.

Chiming in over the comms, Clint murmured, "Aaaaaaaaaand the anomaly's dissipating, guys. Great work. Alani's already been taken to medical, so whenever you're all ready to phone home, feel free."

Molly's face went slightly slack-jawed. "Wait, what?" she said, a little disappointed but still happy that whatever was creating the problem was no longer a problem. "How's the wormhole?"

"Stabilizing," Clint answered. "I don't think you guys staying longer will mess things up worse than they were, but just to be on the safe side, it's best you come back now. The anomalous fluctuations haven't stopped and I don't want them to get any worse."

"Oh," Molly said with a frown. She wanted to give the regent a wedgie or something. "..Okay." She glanced back toward Evan. "I'm sorry, I know we said we'd help but...whatever was creating the issue here is gone. That means the portal to our world might close. We need to go, or we'll be stuck here."

"Go, Lady Molly. As much as I have enjoyed my time with all of you, I would not see you stranded away from your home. We will finish what has been started." He bowed low to Molly, Matt and Meggan, and then turned to Namor. "My brother, I thank you. May you also regain your own throne in some form."

"If only We had the favor of a nation as loyal as your own, Your Royal Highness." Namor bowed his head, looking down at the Prince in what might have been regret or sorrow if stone had the capacity to show emotion. On Namor, right now, it was merely another shade of seriousness. This was cracked with a polite, but earnest, smile. "I hope to someday visit again and see what you have made of your kingdom."
