Three die, seven injured in Washington DC garage bomb blast
A powerful explosion tore through a Washington DC parking garage today, just feet away from the local office of the Red Cross, and the newly opened mutant-friendly support organization "Red-X" subsidiary office.
No group has admitted responsibility but law enforcement officials speculate that an anti-mutant group may be involved.
There was no advance warning of the attacks. In total, there were two explosions, according to the Ordinance Division of the Metropolitan Police Department, tentatively placing the source of the explosions as a car bomb.
The explosions at happened at about five this evening, local time, killing three, and sending seven others to local emergency rooms for treatment of burns and injuries.
