Alex has to go find a worried girlfriend and share his happy mood with her, despite the curcumstances. Rewards are decided upon and who needs a water heater when you can do it yourself?

After searching the entire mansion for one worried girlfriend, Alex was walking down the main staircase when he saw a green head disapper around a corner down a hallway leading to some of the class rooms. Grinning slyly, he caught up to the person and wrapped his arms around thier waist, stopping them in thier traps. "Finally found you!"

Lorna jumped then twisted around, throwing her arms around his neck and clinging. After breaking land-speed records to get back, she had been faced with a disturbing lack of information and no roommate or boyfriend. Tearing her hair out by the roots had been about fifteen minutes away. "You're okay! Thank god. What happened?"

Alex shrugged playfully, still on a high from earlier. "Don't kill me, but I'm still not exactly sure except most of the adults in the mansion were poisoned and us kids were left to battle an army of evil Jamies led by an evil dupe that got away. At least that's whats been explained to me anyway."

"How in the name of God is there an army of evil Jamies? I thought his upper limit was 20 or so." She relaxed her grip on his neck but didn't let go. "Is everyone okay? Where is Alison?" She was trying to get her questions out in something like a logical order but wasn't having much success. His good mood was helping calm her down but slowly.

"Well it seems his evil dupe that got away had a larger limit becuase I know Shiro, Jubes and I destroyed about 20 each." Alex paused a moment to catch his breath, still practically jumping up and down. "Everyone's fine thought shaken up. I don't know where Ali is but I've been told she's got a headache but other then that alright."

Now that got her attention. "You what? With your power?" Lorna pulled back and stared him in the face, eyes wide, "under control?"

Alex nods excitedly. "Yep! I have no idea what happened, but it was like, instinct, ya know? Those evil dupes were going after Shiro and with out really thinking, I was throwing energy like a pro." Then a small frown, which looked more like a pout, came to his face. "Now I just have to figure out how to do it again..."

Lorna hugged him, "Trust me, doing it again is the easy part. This is so awesome." She kissed his pout and ruffled his hair. "Have you told your brother?"

Alex couldn't help but grin at Lorna's affections. "Nope not yet, Scott and the other X-men are still out saving the world or something."

She nodded, "Right, of course. Well, you'll just have to tell him when he gets back." She hugged him again, delighted with his success and more than a little relieved. The little twist of fear inside her that lingered after the accident finally seemed unnecessary. "In the meantime, you're totally one of the heros of the hour and deserve a reward."

He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "A reward hun? Who am I to pass up something like that from a beautiful lady such as yourself?" Alex kissed her in response, hugging her tightly.

She smiled, "Name it and it's yours, sir knight."

Alex leaned down and pressed his forhead to hers, grinning. "I hear Mr. Marko installed a hot tub down near the gym. I happen to know this certain gall who can lock anything metal so how about a private soak with one beautiful lady? I could sure use it after a long day."

"I love the way you think," she replied, kissing him, "And the way you look and smile and everything else about you. I'll just check on Ali then meet you down there, okay?"

"I'm glady someone does." He winked playfully. "Go check up on your roomie, I'll go get things ready." Before letting her go, he kissed her one more time. "I love you."
