After her kidnapping, Sharon only wants one thing: the joy of being the first to inform Felicia.
"Felicia!"
Sharon hurried towards the figure she had been seeking, eyes shining with smug feeling and recently exorcised violence. A smile had even taken hold on her usually inexpressive face. All she had desired was to be the first to deliver the news to the most important person in her life, and she was thrilled that it looked like her dream was about to become a reality.
"Felicia," said Sharon, bounding up to the older woman, "I was kidnapped."
"You were-" Felicia started, cutting herself off with the exhale of the rest of her questions, tumbling together. "Elaborate."
"I was kidnapped," Sharon repeated excitedly. "Do not worry, abduction was communal. Was meant to be a trip to an exhibition of virtual reality, but we were instead taken to a secondary location. There were many lethal traps."
"You were. Communal kidnapped," Felicia repeated slowly, needing the extra brain power to make effective emotional choices. "Is everyone okay?"
"Yes. I saved us all." Sharon's tail crept forward so the girl could hug it proudly to her chest. "During transportation I was foolishly overlooked. My vengeance was terrible." Sharon's smile became positively beaming. "I mauled many."
Felicia's expression softened as she laughed, surprised. "Well then. That was stupid of them," she said frankly, lifting up a hand, fingers bent, for nuzzles if they were wanted. "And so smart, very quick thinking. Well done."
Glowing with validation, the girl leaned into Felicia's hand and butted against it, cat-like, to encourage hair-strokes.
"And then the building exploded," she declared.
“I love it when they do that,” Felicia admitted, using her nails to give Sharon’s scalp a gentle scritch before tucking her hair behind her ear. “Was it a good explosion?”
"Is more implosion, maybe," Sharon corrected. "Controlled demolition? A countdown was issued. Must assume destruction of evidence. We did not stay. Rogue acquired a party bus, because this was all that could be rented at such an hour, and now we--" and here Sharon's enthusiasm was interrupted by a stifled yawn, "--are home."
Felicia’s laugh was caramel warm, pressing an absent kiss to Sharon’s temple, a staticky pause before she stepped away. “You are. Go sleep babygirl, you did so good.”
Sharon's tail twisted into a happy curl as Felicia's words washed over her, warming her body like a drink of hot chocolate on a winter day. She had Done Well.
"I will sleep," Sharon agreed, yellow eyes dancing. "Carnage, this is surprisingly tiring. I wanted only for you to be the first to know. We will talk later? I will give you details and you may tell me what you would have done in my place, so next time I may do better."
“I’d love that,” Felicia replied, still smiling.
