Backdated to July 28 Shatterstar successfully convinces Liam to leave the mansion grounds.
Shatterstar was pretty sure Liam had barely left their suite, let alone the mansion, in days. He threw a collection of restaurant menus from cheap local places in Salem Center on Liam's lap- he had to get Liam out and he wasn't above using food to do it. "Pick somewhere."
Glancing at the choices, Liam answered, "Jimmy John's, it's too hot for cooked food. Why?"
"We are going out to get food," Shatterstar told him in no uncertain terms.
"Jimmy John's delivers," Liam answered, not moving. He wasn't going out.
"That's irrelevant. We're getting you out of this suite." Shatterstar wasn't about to back down from this either.
"No," Liam disagreed, "It's too awkward on crutches and stuff. They deliver, We can eat in the game room and play Mario or whatever."
"Have you even been outside recently?" Shatterstar asked. He was certain the more time Liam spent stuck on mansion property, the less he would want to leave.
"Yeah, of course," Liam answered, he loved going outside. "The back porch has a great sunny patch."
"Then you can totally go into town," Shatterstar said, determinedly. "Get up. We're going."
"No," Liam whined, "Crutches suck! We went through this!"
"Crutches, wheelchair, or I carry you, you are leaving this mansion."
"I hate you. Are you driving? Because," he gestured to his leg in its brace.
"Sure," Shatterstar said, even though they both knew 'Star only had his permit. But then, maybe having a third person go with them would make Liam more inclined to agree.
Sighing, he got his crutches, "Yeah, fine," he agrees grudgingly. "But not Jimmy John's. Somewhere we can sit and they bring us food. And you better not kill us driving. And you're paying."
"I was planning on paying anyways." Star's shoulders softened just slightly in relief. He had succeeded. Maybe Liam would be alright.
