Sam and Paige | Lesbians?

xp_logsSam asks Paige to help him help their sister with her homework. He gets distracted from his mission by a flag above Paige's desk.
"Hey-" Sam said, pushing past Paige's open door, phone in hand. "Elle jus' texted me askin' bout a book report she's gotta do. Didn't you read Grapes of Wr- why you got a lesbian flag on yer desk?"
He blinked at the flag over the desk before turning to look at Paige. He distinctly remembered her coming out as bi. It had been another dot on the Paige and Sam similarity bingo board.
“Don’t you knock?” Paige pulled her earbuds out and spun around in her desk chair. She had been studying until she was so rudely interrupted. “What’s up?”
"Yer door was literally open!" Sam threw his hands up, rolling his eyes. "Since when are you a lesbian?"
“What gave you that idea?” Paige tilted her head in confusion. Just because she was into women didn’t mean she was a lesbian. And why was this so urgent Sam had to burst into her room?
"The lesbian flag hangin' over yer desk." Sam said plainly. "Ellie's Steinbeck stress can wait- this is clearly more interestin'."
“Is that what it is?” She had assumed that Jono had known what flag to give her, but they had never really talked about it. Something to bring up at the next movie night apparently. “Oops, maybe he grabbed the wrong one. What’s Elle’s problem with Steinbeck?”
"She's got that book report project for English 11 with Mr. Anderson? He assigned her Grapes of Wrath. She asked for help but I got assigned Catcher in the Rye. I couldn't remember if it was you or Jay that got Steinbeck."
“Yeah, I read Steinbeck. I’ll let her know I can help.” Paige picked her earbuds back up. “Anything else?”
"No...that's....pretty much it. I'll let ya get back to yer homework. Thanks Paige."
“No worries,” she said as she put her earbuds in and turned back to her desk. As Sam walked out, Paige pulled the flag down and tucked it into her bag. She’d have to look into what the bi one looked like.
