Intel from their Underground contacts in hand, Cyclops, Rogue, and Dust prepare a daring rescue mission.

The mansion really was a building with two faces, the mansion proper wouldn't have been out of place in an episode of Downton Abbey, but the complex that sprawled out beneath the mansion was almost hypermodern. Bright lights, metal doors and smooth walls made for a very different atmosphere, lacking the relaxing comfort of the rooms upstairs, unmasking the complex for what it was, a military base. There were even uniforms.

Scott had discarded his jacket, draped over the back of his chair as he stared at the screen spread out before him, data dancing, forming and reforming as he sat quietly for a moment watching it come together, a picture starting to form in his head before he reached over to his comm, "Rogue, Dust, meet me in the situation room please."

It didn't take Rogue long to stop what she was doing (nothing) and head to meet up with Scott. During the walk, she realized it'd been a while since her last mission, which truthfully made her a bit more excited.

After all, there was nothing as good as punching bad guys.

"What's up, illustrious leader," she asked as she came in.

Sooraya only followed a moment later, still tucking away her tablet in her bag. "Some kind of trouble obviously." She pointed out. "Or..." Sooraya narrowed her eyes at Scott. "I'm guessing some of those leads panned out in a way we wish it didn't?"

"Not quite," Scott gestured at the data spread out across the table, "It's more like the leads panned out in exactly the way we knew we would, no point in sugar-coating it. I've stopped hoping things will be better and started to expect the worst, but that means we have to figure out what to do about it now."

"What's this we business," Rogue teased, glancing at the papers. "Why can't you just boss us around like the good ol' days? "

With a finger, she pushed around the documents, letting out a breath. "None of this looks great.... but since you're calling me here, I'm guessing you need a punchability factor."

"This looks even worse than the rumors I was getting." Sooraya shook her head after she had scanned the various papers. "I take it the plan is to get them out?" She pulled out maps of both facilities, looking them over a little closer.

"Even Caesar needed someone around to poke holes in his ego, although...yes, punching would be a strong benefit in this situation. Preferably repeatedly." The man took a step back from the table as he gestured at the maps, "I'm not worried about getting into the prisons, it's getting everyone out while we're dealing with resistance from the guards that's worrying me."

"Ah, so that's why we are here." Rogue grinned and cracked her knuckles. "Heavy hitters. I got you, boss. Send us in first and we can create enough of a distraction while you guys get everyone out to safety."

She paused. "Or are we blowing the place up? I'm fine with either."

"We're getting everyone out first," Scott confirmed, "After that wreck their hard drive and pull out, leave it standing. As good as it would feel to blow it, they'd just rebuild a facility somewhere else. This way, we can keep an eye on it, if they start using the facility again, or move the personnel or equipment somewhere else we'll know where to hit next."

"If they have any brains, they won't... far too compromised." Sooraya commented drily. "So me and Rogue are the distraction... who else do you have in mind?"

"Sometimes companies are more concerned with the bottom line than they are with making sense, but if nothing else it will give us a place to start from when it comes to. " The leader of the X-men stood and ran his hand over his face, "Our first priority is getting the victims out of there, we'll assign anyone we can spare to be a distraction, but if it comes to it, I trust you both to keep them busy."

Rogue snorted. "Obviously."
