Marie-Ange informs Kevin of her - and subsequently the entire team's spring travel plans. Every occult spot in Paris. She even manages to surprise Kevin.

Marie-Ange was all smiles when she knocked on the doorway to Kevin's office. "I. am absolutely going to expense so many trips home, and no one can stop me, and I am going to make everyone go to Paris with me and we are going to avoid everything Hellfire related and still come up with fifteen haunted items."

She had a half-folded map, clearly stylized, and a booklet, and the expression of someone who definitely was getting away with mischief.

Kevin took a look at it and immediately went to his drinks tray, building a couple of stiff ones. "So, you want to do an occult tour of Paris?"

"I desperately want to do an occult tour of Paris, and pretend to be a tourist and steal fourteen things." Marie-Ange was almost chirpy, genuinely. "And buy all the wine. Also probably exorcise something. Also reinforce some of our European network while I am at it, because with Clea joining the Paris club we are likely to get tossed into those politics another dozen times."

"Go for it. I mean, at a glance, most of it is bullshit, but I might have an in if you want a non-bullshit occult tour of Paris." Kevin passed her over an Old Fashioned. "I have a very weird contact - the ghost of Jean Desmarais."

"You do not, you are a liar." Marie-Ange said, laughing, after a sip of the drink. "Is he haunting the art museum in Montreal?" The drink was as always, perfect and heavy poured. "I know I am contradicting myself all over today, I really do want to do the tour, but I know half will be fake and the other half will be trying to be fake. We really do need to shore up Europe a little, and it is a very funny excuse."

"Trapped in the catacombs under the Hellfire Club where he was killed by his son who wanted his magic sword or something. At least, that's what he claims." Kevin said with a shake of his head. "Go to their library enough down there, you'll run into him eventually."

He looked through the pamphlet, noting some of the sites. "You and Sefton are due a little downtime. And some of these things do turn out to actually be magic even if not in the way they're advertising it as. Clea's over there semi-regularly these days, if you want a third wheel to justify expenses."

"I run half the shop I can justify whatever I want until Felicia turns her accounting claws on me." Marie-Ange said brightly. "And then I will send her to Paris and that will solve that problem. Really though, I want to give everyone a little downtime excuse while things are quiet. A little transcontinental flight, a little wine, perhaps come home with a contact or two. I just wanted to offer you the right of second choice on the list."

Kevin gave her a half smile. "I appreciate that. I do love Paris." He said finally. "Maybe bring everyone over. I mean, there's worse places to do team building than Paris."

"Exactly this. A little business to justify it to our chronic over-workers, a little wine, a lot of good food, and -no one robs the Lourve they have suffered enough-."

"I'm sure I can justify an exercise. Maybe fan them out across Europe from Paris for a few days. Give a little facetime on our networks before heading home."

"So now we figure out who we send to where? I genuinely suspect some of these, Gabriel will either want to burn down or will make that face he makes. You know the face."

"I'm torn. Some days I want to send him into Russia under deep cover and the rest of the time I want to use him to destabilize the Riviera." Kevin said honestly.

"Combine them, we send him to Italian beaches under deep cover so he can seduce Russian spies and destabilize that country. They are doing sketchy things with national heroes again I have heard.." Marie-Ange said. She unfolded the map, and pointed. "I do want to go to the Temple de L'amitie with you, because it is rumored to connect to a tunnel system. If that also connects to the one that goes to the Hellfire library, it should be noted. And perhaps locked off."

Kevin gave her a smile. "Well done. Colbert. I don't know that place at all. I hate that."

"The original owner was obsessed with the freemasons and used to have parties with Hemingway. It is the perfect place to hide a secret entrance to all sorts of things, right in plain sight."

"The French Resistance opened up a lot of the ones that had been closed for ages before the war. Henri Rol-Tanguy had his headquarters in the Paris catacombs and he had his people loot a dozen city and church archives secretly to identify and re-open old tunnels, accessways, and any kind of underground space he could covertly send units through." Kevin said. "Met him in '72. You would have liked him. Smoked unfiltered Gitanes, made the worst kind of rotgut, and his mistress had a weekly meeting with his wife to organize his schedule. He was our kind of people."

"I keep saying one of these days I am going to find out you know my grandparents and I will not be even a little shocked."

"When I pass you a glass of your Grandfather's vin ordinaire, you can call me out."
