Dealing with the facility is only half of taking down this particular Weapon X offshoot. Banshee, Dominion, and Wolverine go to find the man responsible for all this reckless science.

Terry hadn't actually seen Kyle or any of the others who'd been taken. She'd focused on blasting her way into the facility with Alison's assistance and then parted from her initial group when she realized Logan and Garrison were splitting off to look for more information. If she couldn't kill everyone involved in the entire kidnapping -- which she couldn't, given the X-Men's mandate -- she might as well assist with getting as much intelligence as she possibly could. That seemed to involve tracking down a doctor who'd overseen the kidnapping and brainwashing.

No description, no real intel about who they were hunting, just a vague "he's in charge." Logan rolled his eyes hard and shook his head. That was the least helpful anything provided to track down where this Killebrew was. He was some kind of head scientist running the show but did he really know anything?

He paused as he took a deep inhale. The blaring alarms were interspersed with the robotic announcement to evacuate as the building was under attack and please go to their designated pickup points. Fear, adrenaline, sweat. Along with the scent of finer things. Furniture, food, alcohol. He glanced through the doorways as they passed. More upscale, more comfortable than the previous utilitarian offices of the ones doing the actual work. He started walking down the left hallway.

Garrison hung back, both for security reasons and for his own concerns. Terry was well trained, but that tended to break under the kind of emotional turmoil she'd been put through.

The hallways of the facility weren't narrow, but as booted feet began approaching at a steady pace, obviously another wave of the organization's defense, Terry sidestepped Logan just enough to be able to see the entire hall before clapping ear protection on both the feral and Kane. The soldiers approaching wore all black and carried automatic weapons, but before they could raise them to begin firing, Terry screamed. She didn't even attempt to use any of the training Ali had been hammering into her head for years, choosing instead to shriek the way her callsign's namesake was said to. Raising her hands, she barely shaped the soundwaves into something approaching a cylinder, using it as a battering ram. The men flew backward, weapons discharging toward the ceiling and the walls as they hit one another and then the concrete floor behind them.

Logan charged into the melee with a roar, claws out and slashing indiscriminately at anyone coming his way. Most had seen the way their compatriots had been taken out and were firing their wildly at Logan in a poor attempt to keep him from getting too close. It wasn't even a question of if he was getting to the other end of the hallway. It was a question of when.

Kane flattened himself against the wall to avoid a barrage of gunfire. He reached at the back of his belt and pulled out the flashbang. Thanks to his strength, the explosive flew past the guards to the end of the hallway and then exploded, blinding and disorienting the reinforcements who were trying to support the unit that Logan was carving to pieces.

Terry closed her eyes to avoid the flash, but the sound didn't bother her in the least. The smoke was slightly more challenging, since she couldn't see what she might be screaming at, so she chose to mimic Garrison, pressing close to the opposite wall. She narrowed her eyes as the smoke cleared, then began targeting specific people behind and around Logan, lifting them suddenly toward the ceiling hard enough to knock them unconscious before dropping them back to the floor.

"More are coming," she said, stepping away from the wall and farther down the hallway. Terry needed to be careful with how she timed and angled her next scream, but Logan and Kane both still had the sonic ear protection on, so at least no one on their side was bleeding from the ears.

It was neverending as always. More empty bodies dedicated to the cause of using mutants for their own ends instead of mutants being beings in their own right. He shook his head and gritted his jaw before diving back into the fray, running up to one guard and stabbing him in the chest before pulling off to double punch the next one behind him. Two of them charged him then and he spun to the right to avoid one, ducking low to slice off the next one's arm, then spinning back around to finish off the next ones in line.

"Which way is Killebrew? Can't be more than a few goons left."

There's a brief pause as the waves of units dissipate like someone had called an accidental halt or grown some sense. "Gotta be somethin' back here there not wantin' us to see," he said slightly out of breath. "Less gunpowder and sweat down that way." He nodded toward the right branch of hallway.

Terry tuned her hearing specifically in that direction, listening for the faintest sounds that might give away enemy positions. She signaled the other two when she heard shuffling papers, forced-calm breathing, and a heartbeat going far faster than was normal. Tipping her head to the right, she nodded. "Sounds like someone's attempting damage control." Just as she spoke, the unmistakable sound of a paper shredder activating. Once she knew there were no Weapon-X operatives waiting down that hallway, Terry stalked down it, not even bothering to check if the door the sounds were coming from was locked.

She just opened her mouth and screamed, the metal warping slightly, but it was the hinges she was focusing on. Those vibrated apart beautifully, causing the door to fall halfway inward as she side-stepped the opening, making room for Garrison and Logan.
