w00t!! Jubes made Sarah laugh!!

Out of curiosity Jubilee has decided to track down Sarah to find out more about the little excursion to the city. She seems to be the best option as Wisdom is damn intimidating, “Auntie Em” is in the bath and Jono is, well, Jono. Rumor has it that Sarah is somewhere amidst the tree line relieving aggression or something. When Jubilee spots Sarah, she decides to just walk up nonchalantly and tap her on the shoulder. Thinking nothing of the headphones that the knife-thrower is wearing

"Erm, Sarah?" Jubilee mumbles as she taps her shoulder.

Sarah leans back against the tree, playing an imaginary game of connect the bones on a tree not five feet from where she's sitting. Her left hand sits idly by her leg, and her right hand taps out the rhythm on the top of her CD player. When she feels the tap on her shoulder, it only takes one fluid motion to grab a bone from her leg and twist to see where it came from. The bone suddenly stops, barely missing Jubilee's shoulder.

Jubilee jumps back about five feet. "What the hell?!?! Not quite the reaction I was looking for!"

Taking off her headphones, Sarah rolls her eyes and relaxes back into the tree. "Fuck. Did you see I had headphones on?"

“wWll, yeah, but I thought you would have heard me walking or something. I was trying to be as loud as possible."

"You'd have to be coming in on a fucking elephant for me to hear you over this." She takes a heavy breath to calm her nerves, and throws the bone still clutched in her hand at the tree. It sticks. "You needed something?"

Jubilee walks a bit closer, but keeps her distance just in case. "Yeah. I was wondering if I could ask you a question"

"Yeah. Go ahead." There's a little blood on her leg where the last bone came through, and she takes a rag from her pocket to wipe it off. The wound heals within a few minutes.

Jubilee stares, she never actually seen how Sarah's bones work. She catches herself staring and the look in Sarah's eyes. "Well, you obviously know that I read your journal entry. I just wanted to know about what was found."

We found robot parts." She takes a bone from her shoulder this time, passing it from one hand to the other. "A head, a laser, things like that. Plus, we found plans for what the finished product was supposed to be like."

"Oh, so there weren't complete robots ready to come hunt us down? They were only parts to the puzzle?" Jubilee makes herself more comfortable and sits down a few feet from where Sarah is sitting.
"Not complete, no. But that doesn't mean that they couldn't have had them ready in a couple of days..." She throws the bone past Jubilee and it lands solidly in the bark of another tree.

Jubilee flinches as a bone whizzes past her ear. "So, did you all do something about the parts, like destroy them? What did you do about it?"

"We started grabbing stuff. Files and any parts we could carry. Then the guards came in."

Jubilee starts to fiddle with the grass. "So does this mean that nothing terrible will happen? Like a couple of months ago?"

"I wouldn't count on it. In fact, I'm sure our little break in Saturday night has really pissed them off." Sarah shrugs.

"Well that just sucks then. Anyways I guess that's the end of that." Looks around because she doesn't feel like she's old enough to know about certain things. "What about that party that you guys went to?"

"It was interesting... but in a good way. I think there, you almost feel normal." She looks down at her legs, running her hand over the little white scars left by her most recent bones.

"That's cool." Jubilee looks at her hands then back at Sarah. "Do they hurt?"

"Yeah, when they break the skin." She nods. "But I'm used to it now. It's just part of the mutation."

"I see. So do you have healing powers like Logan? How long does it take to heal?" Jubilee leans forward, always interested in learning about other people's mutations.

"Yeah, but not exactly. I don't think I could take the beating he can."

"Cool. Well about the healing not about the not being able to take a beating." Jubilee starts to squirm a bit. She's feeling uncomfortable because she has gotten the answers she was looking but kind of wants to talk with Sarah more. Jubilee wants to get to know her, find out more, but it doesn't seem to be the right time for it now.

Sarah laughs. "I can take a beating.. just not like Logan. I prefer to give beatings though."


"Remind me to stay out of your way when you're pissed off." Stands up and brushes herself. "Well, I've got to get going now, but I guess I'll talk to you later then?"

"Sure." Sarah shrugs and puts her headphones on. "See ya."

Jubilee waves and runs off.
