The moment he's able to go check up on his brother, Alex is up and in Scott's room. But the elder Summers' is sleeping, but Alex is content to wait untill he wakes, just glad to know he's alright. Then they talk and are cute untill they both fall asleep.

The moment he'd been told Scott was back and in his room, Alex dashed off to see him. As he opened the door softly, he heard soft snores and after closer inspection, he found Scott fast asleep in bed. Not even thinking for a moment, Alex carefully climbed up on the bed, and curled up next to his brother, to physically tell himself, his brother was safe.

Some time later, Scott stirred, blinking up blearily at the ceiling for a long moment. He could sense Betsy somewhere close by - sleeping? - but he was dimly aware of someone else there too. He turned his head, and saw Alex stretched out on the bed next to him, watching him. "Hey," he said tiredly, managing a smile.

Half asleep himself, since his nerves had not allowed him more then a few moments of snatched rest while Scott was missing, Alex grinned as Scott stirred. "Hey yourself. How're you feeling?" He propped his head up on his elbow, still smiling at the fact Scott was here.

"Mmm... like I want to sleep for a couple of days. You okay?" Alex looked like he hadn't slept. At all.

Alex nodded quickly. "I am now that your back...I was so worried Scott." He bit his lip before asking softly, "Can I ask what happened?"

Scott sighed, shifting upwards on the pillows just a little. Not much; he didn't really have the energy. Whatever they'd dosed him with might not be messing with his memory anymore, but it still had him awfully groggy. "I don't know, Alex. The fight... there was a fight, right? It's still a blur. Everything went blank, and I just... had to get away."

"Yeah there was a fight...but where did you go afterwards? You just disappeared bro..." He spoke softly, in tone that said Scott didn't have to answer if he wasn't up to it. Alex could tell his brother was barely awake to talk to him. Alex had just been worried sick for the past 24 hours and he wanted to know what happened.

"I didn't know where I was going," Scott admitted after a long moment. "I didn't remember anything... I knew my first name, but that was it."

Alex nodded and after biting his bottom lip again, reached over to touch Scott's face gently, before pulling back. "Sorry I just wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming...I was just so worried about you. We'd had that great day in Hawaii then...you were gone."

"Yeah, I know," Scott murmured with another weary smile. "But hey... I'm back."

Alex smiled as Scott did. "And I couldn't be more grateful. Want me to leave you to your rest now that I know you're okay?"

"You can stay," Scott whispered, his eyes fluttering shut behind his glasses. Staying awake was just too much of an effort right now. "Not going to be such great company, though..."

"Your here and that's all that matters..." Alex said softly as Scott drifted off again. Sighing, Alex laid his head back down on the bed next to Scott's, watching his brother breathe until he too fell asleep.
