Batman foils a plot by those two diva of destruction—Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn. He earns himself a tasty treat.



Lorna caught a shadowy movement out of the corner of her eye and grinned, shooting Jane a warning wink that told her to notice nothing. She began to chatter loudly about slicing another cheesecake, suiting action to word, describing it as though it were a dastardly caper suiting her poisonous costume. The bells on Jane’s costume jingled as she held in giggles. The two vile villainesses carefully ignored the shadowy intruder.

With a grim and resolute expression, Batman prowled in the shadows, observing the two dangerous villains as they plotted dastardly deeds in their shadowy lair. Word of their evil plans had come to his attention and of course, Batman could not allow such things to go on within hallowed halls of this mansion. Lifting his hands, he flicked on the switch of his secret weapon - lo and behold! The sign of the bat swung across the room, ending up on bell bedecked foe!

Lorna burst out laughing at the look on Jane’s face when the toy bat smacked into it. “Looks like you’ve been vanquished, Harls. Don’t worry! I’ll avenge you! No man can resist Poison Ivy!” Jane grinned obligingly and fell in an exaggerated faint. Lorna spun around and made a huge deal out of looking for Batman. When she spied him, she gave a melodramatic “Aha!”

Bounding out of the shadows like an avenging angel, Batman struck a conquering pose, cape fluttering behind him dramatically. The vile villainess Poison Ivy was there, laughing insanely as she prepared yet another evil concoction! Only he, the sneaky and heroic Batman could save the day!

“You’ll never beat me, Batman! I will win and then my plants and I will rule the world!” Her speech was somewhat ruined by having to step over the giggling corpse of her partner in crime. “Just give up now and I’ll spare your life!”

Batman did not need to make speeches, of course. He was, in fact, infinitely cooler than just that. With a stern look, Batman shook his head silently, ignoring the wicked womanly wiles of his foul opponent (but ooh, the cheesecake on the table smelled good! ) and instead reached under his cape to withdraw a batarang. With a swift and sure gesture, he threw it at her!

Ah but Batman was an old foe and Ivy knew his tricks well. She dodged the batarang and darted forward, catching Batman around the waist and tackling him to the ground before tickling him mercilessly. “Admit defeat, Batman! I have won!”

Ahah! But Batman had a secret weapon in case the evildoers should prove to be able to corner him, for he was always prepared! With an agile twist (and not at all giggling madly) he withdrew a small ball from his pocket, bouncing the smoke bomb off the floor at his dreaded (and very cute though he missed the green hair) opponent’s feet!

Drat that Batman and his ever-prepared utility belt! Ivy dodged away from the smoke, coughing theatrically. She raised her hands into the air, “Curse you for turning the tables, Batman. All right, I give up.”

"HA!" With a cry of victory, Batman bounded towards the table - height was needed for such things and the chair would do nicely after all. "Mi-Batman wins over the forces of evil again!" There, formalities had been observed. A sidelong look at the table showed that the loot was nearby - oh so tantalizingly close. "Batman would like some cheesecake now please!"

“Sure thing.” Lorna knew that Miles had probably had far far too much sugar tonight but the Batman deserved his reward. She cut him a generously sized slice—well, proportionately generous at least—and slid it onto a plate. “Milk, Batman?”

Sitting down on the chair Mil- er, Batman wriggled until it was nudged into place, the food oh so nicely within reach. "Yes, please! Batman likes milk!"
