Dani takes her daily dose of calming tea and meets Catseye. One of them remains calm anyways.

The tea smelled like ass, Danielle thought again, using an uncharacteristically vulgar expression she had picked up from Forge and Kyle. Unfortunantly, it was quite apt. The tea tasted even worse, but Dr. McCoy had recommended it to help keep her calm and she was drinking it. The alternatives were even worse than the tea.

Something was tickling at Catseye nose as she wandered in to check in on the pregnant girl, closing the door she had just opened with a flick of her tail. "Mrrr? Padding up to the bed she gave Danielle a curious look, inspecting everything in sight without any shame at all.

"What?" she asked annoyed. The tea was disgusting. Equally as bad as raw fish if not worse, even if she wasn't throwing up. "It's my tea so I can stay calm. That way I don't have to go back in the box," and if she did that...she didn't want to think about what that meant. It was bad and she wasn't going back if she could help it and that meant drinking the tea.

Padding up to the mug, Catseye rose on her hind legs to peer inside of it, the smell tickling her nose though she refused to move away. Whiskers arched forward slowly and with much care, Catseye leaned in closer. And closer.

"Mine!" Dani snatched the mug away, not wanting to add cat hair to the vile concoction, "You can make your own if you want it," she nodded towards the bathroom area where she had a few kitchen mugs and tea bags. For once she was not going to do what the cat wanted.

Catseye stared for a long while, looking stricken. Mostly because she had no idea how to make whatever it was Danielle had in that mug and she wanted some, oh so very badly. It smelled so intriguing. "Mrreow." The sound was disconsolate, to say the least.

Sighing, Dani drank the mug as quickly as she could, trying not to gag. "This stuff is terrible!" she commented, taking the dirty mug to the sink. Quickly she ran the hot water and dunked another tea bag in, letting it steep. "See for yourself," she brought the mug back, placing it on the desk.

Hopping onto the desk was quickly done and the lavender cat wasted no time in checking out her prize. Whiskers arching forward once more to check on the temperature of the liquid and quickly deeming it safe, Catseye leaned forward and took a careful taste - good smelling didn't mean good tasting, she knew only too well.

It figured the cat would like it. Although Dani's bad mood was quickly evaporating, most likely due to watching Catseye trying to climb down into the mug to get the rest of the liquid than the tea itself. "If you turn human, you can drink the rest," Dani informed her as Catseye glared woefully at the still mostly-full mug.

The tea tasted funny. But gooood. And being a large cat was vexing at times and this was most certainly one of them. Ignoring Danielle entirely, Catseye gave up on trying to fit her head in the mug and cleverly stuck a paw inside instead, before licking the liquid from it. The slight tilt to the side as she did so was checked, Catseye gleefully not caring in the least. Oh. So. Goood.

Rolling her eyes, Dani curled up on her bed to watch Catseye attempt to drink the liquid off her paw would take forever. Silly cat, but she would learn, sometimes being human was just slightly easier. Slightly. "Are you done yet?" she asked, shifting to find a better position.

An odd sort of chirp answered her, Catseye turning around to give her a brief, but very blissful sort of look - before simply sneaking her tail to the handle of the mug and raising it just a bit. Sitting back she lifted one paw to tilt the mug, giving her access to the rest of the liquid, the quick lapping sounds indicating how quickly it was being consumed.

Grinning, Dani couldn't believe how happy Catseye seemed to be drinking her tea. Cat taste-buds weren't the same as human, that was obvious. "So maybe you should drink my tea for me?" she suggested.

"Mreeoooowww..." There was some tea left, but Catseye dropped the mug down to the table somewhat awkwardly, not really caring. The world was a nice and entirely too fuzzy place, and she loved it oh so much. Wandering over to Danielle to express this seemed like a fine idea, too, only her paws seemed to have a mind of their own and the shifting of on top of the desk to the ground occured frightfully fast, though somehow she managed to save herself from faceplanting at the last second. Barely.

"Catseye!" Dani cried, scrambling to pick the obviously woozy cat up. Catseye didn't really protest much, just nibbled on Dani's hair, "You okay?" she asked, knowing she wasn't. Cats did not fall off desks like that.

The thunderous purring was pretty much the only answer Catseye could give her, along with a glazed look as the cat wrapped both paws around Dani's neck, a strand of hair still being nibbled upon absently. The
continuous attempt to absently keep crawling further into Dani's arms was something a clue however, as was the way Catseye suddenly hit her chin on Dani's shoulder as the lack of coordination caught up with her once more.

"Okay, that's it!" Dani informed the tipsy kitty, adjusting her hold. Her belly was actually useful to help balance Catseye, who'd have thought? "We're going to get Forge. No Drunk Kitty Fu for you!"
