Evening professor!

I've reserved the plane tickets and am spiriting off my Terrible Three (Jono, Angelo and Paige of course) tomorrow, around mid-morning, for a well deserved break in at a private beach a friend of mine is letting me borrow for a bit, in Mexico. I'm not letting them know until the last second, just because I feel like being all spontaneous and bouncy that way. Plus, the looks of pure terror as I drag them off will be entertaining, don'tcha think?

Oh, also, I spoke with Hank, and will be taking Bobby with me too (he knows and agreed, mind). Frankly, I think it might do him good to get time out of the lab, but not quite yet overwhelmed with people either - sort of a transition point before he goes back to class full time and all... the place we'll be staying at is nicely secluded too, so he won't feel overwhelmed.

I'm pretty sure some of the kids will reach out to him on their own, but still, can't hurt to just make sure he can't keep to himself so much so that he's unreachable to them...

It's a friend's house. I'm sure if you ever want to run off for a bit, arrangements can be made. And I get to kick the kids outside to go play in the sun every day - that alone could become a fun hobby. ;)

Ha! Not much chance of that. I practically begged for lessons and Mr. Dour and Dark couldn't be bothered. One try was all he was willing to give me.

Hnnk'll set you up with a password to the system so you can access the student files ~ we can also now partition the access to each individual file if one of the kids insists on keeping something confidential with only one of us, btw.

Hope you like the look of the office. I was very careful in decorating it for you. Wouldn't have wanted you to feel uncomfortable in the place or anything. Black and black and more black...

Oh. And you can play find the Hello Kitty decal too, if you want. I forget where I left it, myself.

I was going to ask about the decor - I thought you'd stuck me in Jono's old room, or something. Still, I'll just wait until one of the students gives me an excuse and get them re-painting it.

Strange, certainly.

I'll ask Shiro about the Kitty thing, yeah, although I've just googled it, and I'm already slightly traumatised. I want to have a chat with him at some point anyway.

But it's a good thing, see! You can use the Hello Kitty stuff to keep the students in line. ;) Btw, I already asked Lorna to bribe Shiro with Pocky. Which reminds me, if you need an opener with Shiro that doesn't involve him screaming in horror and running away, ask him about Pocky first and keep the Hello Kitty question for the end.
