Directly following this scene, Logan goes looking for Marie. He finds her tired, in more ways than physically, and they talk about why she's so exhausted, and then he carries her upstairs and puts her to bed.
Later that afternoon, however, Nathan finds himself in the desert, seeing through the eyes of an Askani general in the last days of his world. Moira finds out that yes, what happened on Thursday is not going to be a one-time occurrence.
Logan hunts down Shinobi, as Scott requested, and offers him a spot on the team. Shinobi accepts, slightly giddy at the thought, and Logan fills him in on some of the specifics.
Near the end of the meet-'n-greet, Bethany ducks outside to catch a bit of air. Angelo comes out for a smoke, and they chat a bit. The idea of Bethany visiting the school is broached.
Manuel is moping, Amanda finds him in the music room being maudlin. Many things are discussed, from the link, to why Lorna was so upset, and progress is made. At least until Amanda tries to heal the damage caused by the link being broken, and things go ka-blooey, resulting in a temporary mental overlap and bigtime headaches for both of them. Nate is called in to send help.
