Rack - Monday morning

The confrontation with Rack. Amanda gets the upper hand until Angelo makes a fatal mistake and gives Rack the opportunity to reopen the link with Manuel and drain them both. Emma and Pete arrive just in the nick of time. I guess that makes them Big Damn Heroes. Written by Kate, Alasdair, Andrew, Redhawk and myself.

Nathan and Moira, Monday afternoon

While everyone is waiting for news, Nathan goes out to the quarry to break rocks in order to vent some tension. Several visions hit at once, and he has a very unusual sort of breakthrough.

A little later, he brings Moira her promised lunch. She senses that something's a little 'off' about him, and his new sense of calm doesn't last for very long once they start talking about it and the missing students. The conversation turns to whether some coping methods are really all that healthy, the whole subject of presidential pardons, and finally, in an unexpected twist, to Nathan's deceased wife. (OOC note: Pay no attention to the foreshadowing, really...;)

Sunday afternoon, Shiro and Clarice spar in the fencing hall. Nothing too special here, just a couple of friends smacking each other around for the fun of it.

Well, actually, this is set after they get back, which is being handwaved. Two consecutive logs, starting around 10pm (posted now because 10pm for most of you is 3am for me ;)). The cut-tag text on the first one is Jenni's fault.

Angelo sees Amanda safely in the medlab, and bolts to the woods to try and hold things together, with his last-ditch less-than-healthy coping mechanism. Jono catches him at it.

Angelo runs straight to Marie, and comes closer to breaking down completely than ever before.

[Kurt, Madelyn] Fairy Tales Can Come True

Late Monday night/early Tuesday morning, Kurt heads down to the medlab with donuts and sandwiches for the doctors. Moira's been sent upstairs to sleep, it's Hank's night off, and Madelyn is on duty. She endures the hellacious wait for a fresh cup of coffee with what turns out to be wonderful company. Kurt and Madelyn find something in common, though it's not something Madelyn tends to publicise about herself.

Around five this evening, Doug comes to check on Marie-Ange, and takes care of her. He's good like that. Also, he does a pretty good impression of Spike from Buffy. This serves no purpose other than to let him make silly quotes later.

Later, Moira finds Doug and Angie in the sunroom, and since Doug missed his appointment, she has them both go to her office for a checkup. There, Doug finds the rock Cain gave Moira, and translates the writing on it.
