Hank, Paige, way too early Wednesday morning

Paige finds a present on her pillow very early in the morning, and guesses at once who must have left it. She goes to thank him, and helps him work his coffee machine. They have a little bonding moment.

Nathan and Hank, Wednesday morning

Nathan stumbles into medlab after another bad Danger Room scenario, on top of a serious lack of sleep. Hank decides that a training break is required. Nathan does not take the news well.

( The part of him that was exhausted unto the point of stupidity was yelling at him to suck it up before they decided he wasn't reliable. Because everyone knew what happened to the unreliable, and he wasn't going there, not again... )

Nathan and Alison, Wednesday early afternoon

After he wakes up from his little nap in the medlab (and retrieves his pants - bad Hank!) Nathan flees. To the staff room, where he happens to find Alison. Thankfully, he's a little too tired still to be confrontational. As is Alison, having just run through one of the scenarios she'd made for him.

Wednesday, late morning. Set before this log and after Nathan's morning training session. In which Madelyn tracks down Alison and discovers something not to her liking, which really is the last drop as far as she's concerned, and then proceeds to live up to her redheadedness. Alison, for her part, goes for shades of Vorkosigan.

Jubilee decides to make donuts for Madelyn in way of thanks for going with her to San Francisco. This does not turn out as well as you'd expect.

Shiro & Alex, Wednesday evening

After receiving an e-mail from Clarice, Shiro heads straight to Alex for advice. Alex proceeds to have a laugh at Shiro's expense, but pulls himself together long enough to calm Shiro's fears and get him to stop going ballistic.

( He tried, he really did. But Alex just couldn't help it. He burst out laughing, so hard that he had to step back so he could double over. Oh this was priceless, simply priceless. )

Hank, Jubilee, Wednesday Night

(Backdated all to heck, or at least to the 19th) When Jubilee wakes up after setting herself on fire, Hank is there to reassure her that the fire's out and everything's okay. He tells her about his clothes-stealing plan to keep people in bed, to cheer her up.
