Monday afternoon. Jay goes to meet Alison in her office after asking to speak to her about something music related. The talk covers an angle she was expecting to be approached on sooner or later.

( So Ah've been, er, talkin' to some folk lately, and Ah saw that Ah've lost mah way… )

Shiro & Nathan, Tuesday afternoon

On the heel of these e-mails, Shiro and Nathan have the first of their training sessions. Shiro unintentionally freaks out Nathan a bit, but there's no lasting harm done. Surprisingly.

( The way Shiro was bouncing around, he was going to wind up off-balance at some point. Or no, maybe that's just creaky old me. )

Nathan and Manuel, Tuesday evening

In Times Square, Nathan and Manuel try an experiment. It doesn't work out, and Nathan takes a frustrated Manuel to dinner. They have one of Those Discussions about the difference between empathy and telepathy, intimidate a waiter, and yet somehow manage not to argue (at least not as loudly as usual). In passing, Nathan mentions something about the Askani that definitely classes as 'more significant than he likes to admit'.

( Don't start with the 'stupid power' nonsense. And don't get huffy at me, either. )

Logs [Alison/Lorna - Alison/Haroun] The little things about living together...

Tuesday afternoon. After the argument, Alison is snatched from the hallways as she stalks away, still in a high rage. After the successful relocation of one angry lightbulb to her own room, Lorna proceeds to enable the return to sanity.

( But would it kill him to just leave one of my shirts or books lying around just a bit longer until I get around to picking it up? Huh?! )

Tuesday, early evening. Shortly after this exchange of emails. Volatile tempers are talked about or hinted at, as well as a trip into town for the next day. Oh yes. There's making up as well.

( And we're gonna need some new teacups too. )
