Much later this afternoon, at the airport, Kitty's plane finally arrives. Jamie, having made productive use of the wait to make friends with the security personnel and thoroughly investigate the local vending machines, is very glad to find better things to do with his time. They have what passes for a normal conversation between students at Xavier's--interdimensional menu comparisons--and engage in shockingly public displays of affection.
( Now that she's back in the atmosphere )
And
much later this evening, after happy reunions all around, Kitty and Jamie sneak out to the treehouse for a bit of private time involving pillows, stories about Asgard, a particular
bracelet, a particular
scar, playing with food, advanced states of undress, and even more shockingly private displays of affection.
( Did you fall for a shooting star? )
