Monday morning. Sometimes, it's easier to fall back on old patterns, even if you were busy reminding someone else not to. Alison sets today aside as a hiding out day, though Scott still finds her easily enough. They talk about Columbia, what Amanda is doing and how it establishes another pattern that is still far from over.

Amanda, Nathan - Monday morning

After his conversation with Alison, Nathan goes and talks to Amanda again. He finds one extremely nervous witch, and does what she needed him to do all along.

Scott and Haroun, Monday morning

After talking to Alison, Scott decides to go drop a couple of very pointed hints in Haroun's ear. What are friends for?

Scene the First: Amanda gets an attack of the doubts once she's actually there, which isn't helped by the fact she's remembering in vivid detail what happened that day. Angelo is her anchor.

Immediately before the speech, Manuel is being Supportive Boyfriend Guy, although he's dealing with memories of his own.

( But you're putting your pretty little ass on the line here, and I can't help you if somebody or something wants to take a swing. )

Columbia, the speech

The speech itself. Afterwards, Strange and Hank are bonding as only two academics can when possible trouble appears.

After the speech, Amanda rejoins Hank and Strange, and they have an encounter with Tommy and two other FoHers. Things get impassioned, Angelo joins in, and the arrival of the police breaks things up

Wanda seeks some silence and alone time after the memorial and everything else is over and done with. Dr. Strange finds her, which she doesn't seem to mind, and she realizes that someone else was affected by the attacks. She offers comfort, he takes her home, they meditate. (No, really, they do!)

Hank, Scott, Monday night

After the heated exchange of emails, Hank goes upstairs to apologize and explain to Scott exactly why he's taken issue with this. (Probably not at the best time, but the nervous strain of the day has gotten to both of them) They talk past each other a bit, but they get there eventually, both of them making some valid points.

Nathan and Cain, Monday evening

A few hours after watching the memorial, Nathan heads down to the boathouse to visit Cain. Talking about the events of the day and the problems Nathan's been having in training leads to... well, a screaming match on Cain's mindscape. Yeah. But it's a productive screaming match! Complete with semi-affectionate death threats, a 'my angry God beats your 2.5 million pissy ghosts' discussion, and a surprising amount of resolution. Oh, and Cain decides he can walk. Lots of fun.

Hank, Madelyn - late Monday night

Hank comes bearing pizza and beer, as an apology to Madelyn for the misunderstanding with Scott about Madelyn's status. Lucky for Hank, she's in a forgiving mood. Banter is shared.
