The morning after the night before. Madelyn is having touble with shoes, as you would after shredding your knuckles on a punching bag. Kurt comes to the rescue, and they finally arrange payment of the dinner debt. Well, one of them.
Nathan and Amanda take today's TK-training session outside to the dock to practice with water. It goes rather well, apart from some incidental splashing. Afterwards, he comes clean with her about the events of last week and tells her not to worry.
Well, okay, in theory stress reduction was a good idea. Jamie, Kitty, and Lockheed head out for a picnic, which is interrupted when Jamie passes out for no apparent reason. Kitty calls it in, the Professor alerts Kurt, who plays ambulance, and Madelyn goes back to square one.
Nathan watches Anika pack and wonders whether he did the right thing, uprooting her from her new life in Paris. She reassures him, and they each make the other a promise.
A little later, Nathan takes Mick down to say goodbye to Alison, who's not quite coherent, but still manages to elicit a promise from Mick to keep in touch.
Bridge and Nathan talk briefly before he leaves with Anika and Mick. Bridge tries to remind him that yes, there is actually a world outside the mansion and maybe he and Moira might like to visit it.
Manuel carefully makes his way down to Nathan's office Thursday morning to turn in the assignments he'd missed while being in Medical. Wonder of wonders, Manuel's actually trying to be a decent human being. So far, so good!
Backdated to Wednesday evening. Manuel's hurting fairly bad and very hungry, so he asks Amanda to retrieve him some food. He also makes a decision to change, and Amanda promises him her support. Then they settle in for beef stew and British comedy.
Thursday evening: all the tests are finished, the Professor's been called in, and now Jamie knows what's going on: leftover memories of Skippy's are growing back together in his brain, like a broken bone healing wrong. He does not take the news well, but Kitty calms him down enough to sleep.
