Hank, Scott, Thursday noonish

Scott comes to visit Hank. He tries, but Hank can't keep up the brave face any longer, and Scott discovers just how hard this is for Hank, and what might happen if he doesn't get better.

Log, Tuesday [Alison, Haroun] - One moment at a time...

Tuesday afternoon. The limits of what can or can't be done are still being worked out (no pun intended) and a workout in the gym ends up with a trip to the medlab, of the filtering kind. There is a moment of quiet for both Haroun and Alison, however, as a result of this. As bittersweet as it may be.

Alison stops by Nathan's office to find out what he didn't put in his report about Spain. He's still having a certain amount of difficulty coping with MacInnis' bombshell about the unintended consequences of what happened in New Mexico eight years ago.

( I killed them. Because I didn't stop to think... wasn't thinking at all, didn't care, whatever you want to call it. )

Scott and Remy, Thursday morning

Remy, upon his return to the mansion, comes to Scott with the information he dug up in Europe about the death of Pete's father. The identity of the culprit is a very, very, very bad thing.

( Heard somewhere dat people go to Europe on vacation. Must be one of dem urban legends. )

Sometime after this log, Nathan 'overhears' the tail end of Scott and Remy's 'conversation' and intercepts the Cajun, dragging him outside and back to the boathouse for a beer and a talk.

( Why did it always have to be Coors Light? )

Nathan and Manuel / Nathan and Madelyn, late Thursday afternoon

Nathan and Manuel have an encounter in the library and a long conversation about Manuel's recovered memories, regrets, and the philosophy of emotions versus logic.

( I see the tendency to beat yourself up has come back. )

Later, Nathan is meditating outside when Madelyn happens by in the pursuit of fresh air. He gives her an impromptu lesson in Askani meditative patterns, and it goes over quite well.
