Scott seeks out Wanda after the incident at the club to check up on her. He also offers her the chance to train with the X-Men. Surprised, she agrees but wants a question answered first.
After getting the injured settled after the attack in the club, Moira comes back up to the suite and finally gets to show Nathan the Halloween costume she and Alison devised. It involves the ever-wonderful synthsilk. Nathan, despite being fairly exhausted himself, is very appreciative. A little while later, he has just a little bit of a precognitive moment.
As he promised, Scott comes down to keep her company in the medlab. They eat peanut butter cups, gossip, and talk a little strategy. Scott makes it quite clear that he realized the medstaff need something of a break.
Madelyn checks in on the 'mystery patient', who's doing quite a bit better this morning. They talk a little, and she decides that there's no real need to isolate him any further.
Monday morning, Terry goes to face the music for taking making Alex lose his hearing. She sings Alison a song of powers and training and how she made a mistake. It fails to strike a chord with Alison who prefers to blame Alex. Terry will still have to sing for her supper but first a trip to check out the pipes is in order.
Monday, late morning. Alison drops by for her daily visit to talk to Mick. The poor dear is a bit jumpy (ok, a lot) and keeps a very watchful eye on the door.
The first attempt at 'mentoring' one of the new students meets with good results, as Scott and Forge enjoy a mutual appreciation of fine motorcycles. Offers are made and accepted, and some insight into Forge's reading habits is given...
Alison comes by to check on things and manages quite neatly to kick Amanda out of the 'it's all my fault' mindset. Because she is good that way. There's also discussion of Illyana and betting pools - I blame the whole being in pain thing for Amanda's big mouth.
Mondy afternoon, set after this log and this e-mail, Alex goes to Lorna's suite to find out whats going on. He convinces her to come out of the bathroom and into the safe heaven of his own room.
