Callisto and Jean use Maddie to get into the Genoshan Broadcasting Corporation building so they can turn off the security cameras.

Jean-Paul, Artie, Sam, and Angelo get into the GBC through the service entrance and disable transmitter controls.

( I think we've got her locked down good an' tight )

Garrison, John, Sooraya, Bishop, and Nico accompany the two Genoshan Commission members to the broadcast booth to get the truth to the people.

The rendez-vous point at the GBC is compromised by the arrival of Mutate 1337 and a team of Magistrates.

( Enough. I grow tired of this. )

While broadcasting the messages to the Genoshan people, a squad led by Commander Semoko and Mutate 42 attacks, and only the sacrifice of the Commission members can save the team.

( That'll slow them down for a few minutes - keep the feed on longer. )

Matt and Wade are walking when Matt hears something that shouldn't be there.

( Matt was not naive. He knew violence and he knew what it sounded like. )

As the camp is ambushed, Marius and Wanda fight back. There are limits, however.

( It was the only choice Wanda would let herself have. )

Lorna, Catsye and Molly have a shocking encounter.

( Long live Genosha, and death to all her enemies. )

In the skies, Warren, Pixie and Meggan discover things are getting worse.

( Well, we've seen them but now they've spotted us. What do we do? )

On the ground, Emma, Fred and Jean-Phillipe are pushing back the Genoshans, but then they made their own shocking discovery.

( Only the day before it had been the scene of children playing, the adults preparing the evening meal, welcoming the strangers into their midst. )

Joined by Wanda and Marius, Emma, Jean-Phillipe and Fred come up with a desperate plan to take down Mutate 105.

( I promise we will save her. I promise, Fred. )

Warren and Pixie come to help Lorna, Catseye and Molly against Mutate 557 and rescue Meggan from death by tree.

( This was taking things too far—she didn’t want to be killed by Old Man Willow’s little cousin. )

When the Magistrates withdraw, it seems like the mutants have won. Until the airstrike begins.

( It's time to get out. )

Storm leads the first squad against the main transportation terminal.

( We’ll make a master marksman out of you yet, )

Kurt's squad fights through the guard house to gain entrance to the geothermal plant.

( I want a name tag that says I'm Mutate number Fuck you. )

Mutate Amara and Betsy drive back the X-Men, but they haven't finished yet.

( Let's see you hit two thousand degrees, sugar! )

Kurt's team rescues the prisoners from the power plant, and brings it down behind them.

( Well, we can't take the corpse with us, )

The imprisoned X-Men and X-Force members have reached their limit, and even the calmer and more peaceful captives have a breaking point, or perhaps cards up their sleeves.

( If you don't like our foreign policy, then why the fuck did you move to America? For that matter, why the fuck did we risk our lives trying to get you back? )

The Magistrates fall back, but Jenny learns a hard lesson about what victory means.

( Traitor! )

An escape attempt, you say? Of course there's an escape attempt! Marie-Ange, Lexington, Doug, Clarice and Scott provide an explosive distraction.

( Doug, give me the keycard please. We need to open the cells. Everyone is certainly awake now. And possibly deaf. )

The escape attempt continues, with Amanda, Sarah, Remy and Terry fighting their way out.

( This was a crazy escape attempt, but it was the only one with any chance of success. So long as everybody did their parts. )

The escape attempt is going as planned, but what of the injured, and the broken? They fall behind.

( This was the worst-case scenario. The reality that, sometimes, people are pushed so far that they simply can't go any further. )

In the end, the escape attempt is a failure, and the teams are betrayed by their own.

( You're damn right something isn't right here. Rotten like the state of motherfucking Denmark. )
